If you're a student or professional with a neurodivergent condition that makes writing difficult, funding may be available to cover the cost of TalkType. Find out which route applies to you below.
TalkType is available through a range of educational and workplace funding schemes across the UK and North America. Select the route most relevant to you.
For students in UK higher education.
DSA covers assistive technology for eligible students with a disability or condition that affects how they study. TalkType is a recognised tool within DSA, and can be recommended by a needs assessor as part of a student's support package.
For employees in UK organisations.
Access to Work funds assistive technology for employees with a disability or condition that affects how they work. TalkType can be recommended as part of an Access to Work support package by a workplace needs assessor or occupational health specialist.
For students at US colleges and universities.
Disability services offices at US institutions can fund assistive technology as part of a student's accommodations. TalkType is available to students supported through these routes.
For students at Canadian colleges and universities.
Eligible students can access assistive technology funding through the Canada Student Grant for Students with Disabilities (CSG-DSE) and provincial bursary programmes. TalkType is available to students supported through these routes, and can be named as the preferred software in a student's funding application.

Once your assessment is complete and funding is approved, TalkType is covered. You get full access at no cost to you.
